Proud to unveil these character profiles from the book cover I did for The Legend of Arch Magus.
This piece is specifically for the 9th book in the series.
Written by Michael Sisa, it tells the story of a powerful being, an Arch Magus, having been reborn in the body of an exiled son of a Duke. He is surprised to learn that he is "resurrected" in a land where magic does not exist, and so it now becomes his challenge to restore the magic that he has come to know and be known by.

This was such a blast to work on, and frankly quite a challenge. One may think that this falls along my forte, but I've found that the more "young adult fantasy" appeal is something I have not oriented myself with, as I have come to realize my work is toward the more mature side of this kind of illustration. Nonetheless, I am glad with how the piece resulted, and I am very happy to do this again should I be given the opportunity.
